Are you looking for some optimism in your life? My name is Bret, and I always see the good side of things. I'm a happy go lucky type of guy, and I enjoy all the good things life has to offer. I want to play all the time, I'm always happy and excited and down for any adventure! I'm on the small side, so I'm sure I would easily fit in almost anywhere.

I love playing outside, with friends, being with my people, eating delicious food (I can reach the food not meant for me too!). I am good with older kids, 10 years and older. I can be nervous and defensive with some small children.

-Bret weighs about 20 kg (44 lbs.)
-He is about 3 years old, estimated (former stray dog)
-Bret sleeps soundly in a crate all night, if there is a cozy bed inside
-Excellent dog manners
-Good with cats too
-If you have another playful dog, they can play frequently and tire each other out
-Fully vetted, neutered, and on monthly preventives

We are looking for a home with a fenced yard, another playful dog, and even an older child or two! Bret is truly good things come in small packages, and he will continue to flourish.

Bret was saved on the morning of his euthanasia appointment in a Kentucky dog pound. He had mange, so other rescues were not interested in him. His mange is all healed and he has a beautiful fur coat now.
