Brenda is looking for her forever!!



If you recall, Brenda underwent her double TPLO surgery with us back in November. It was a long, somewhat difficult journey for her, but she got through it like an absolute champ. She never let it slow her down, even though we tried our darnedest to keep her calm throughout her recovery.



Prior to her surgery, Brenda was in a foster home where she was doing fantastic. That foster, however, was not equipped to assist her through her recovery and rehab, so she was moved to a new foster family for a few months. Recently, the original foster took her back into what we all thought would be her forever home. Unfortunately, the other resident dog got a little too rough while playing a few days ago, and it seems as though it may not be the perfect fit we had hoped for.



Brenda is an absolutely incredible girl with a heart made of pure gold! She gets along with dogs of all sizes, shows no interest in cats, and is not bothered by horses. Kids will be given all of her kisses, as long as they are respectful and don't climb on her. A home where she can receive all the attention, or share it with a more mellow dog with moderate activity would be ideal for her. She is house trained, well-behaved, does not have destructive tendencies, and just wants to spend as much time with her humans as possible. She will wander to others' food bowls if given the chance, but does fine if monitored.



Brenda is just a goofy little goober who is sure to always leave you with a smile on your face! And that underbite! How can you resist that face!?
