Meet Brees
???Meet Brees!???
He’s seeking a long term foster-to-adopt family. Brees is a 2-3 year old neutered male that came from a hoarding case in Louisiana. Brees LOVES other dogs, but kitties not so much. He is house trained and crate trained. He would also do well in a home with older/no children as he has some old injuries we’re dealing with.
Speaking of which, due to his history Brees comes with a little baggage. He is heart worm positive, but it was caught in the early stages. Additionally, it was discovered in X-rays that he has an old gunshot wound with the bullet still inside him and a damaged hip. We are awaiting clearance for potential Femoral Head Ostectomy surgery. Hero rescue will support the foster financially through this process. He will require a couple of transports to Towson Vet.
But don’t let all of that scare you away!! This young man with eyes that can see into your soul has loads of love to give. His injuries don’t slow him down either, even if he probably should ? when he is not playing with any toy he can get his paws on, he’s snuggled up to you as close as he can. He sleeps politely next to me all day while I work. He’s even a little spoiled and sleeps at the foot of the bed, but I think he deserves to be spoiled after how much he’s gone through. Can you add this big handsome hunk to your family and help him through recovery? Be his hero ????
