He is just too active and spry and actually might be more like 5 to 7. But it's just a number, right? Boyd is a great little dog all around and he is all beagle! He has the funniest little howl - his little head goes all the way down and then he throws it up in the air and sings! He is happy to get affection from people and playful with other dogs (please see videos below). He likes to nap up on the bed or on a blanket next to the bed, although he likes his crate at night. Boyd has made excellent grades in house training at his foster home, but he does get to spend a lot of time outside with his nose to the ground. When he's finished sniffing, he will sometimes run off with a shoe or toy, but it doesn't hold his attention for long. Car rides are great fun for Boyd and, of course, he's really into his food. We believe Boyd needs a home with a fenced yard, and one that is secure. He has been treated for heartworms recently so he'll need to be on an activity restriction until mid April.
