Borl Shepherd & Retriever Mix Fort Lupton, CO

Borl is a shy, gentle dog who would love to find a patient, quiet home. She takes time to warm up to new people and will thrive in a home with another dog to play with and to learn from. Borl adores squeaky toys, chasing balls, and tagging along with her foster siblings. At night, she loves nothing more than snuggling up with her foster parents for some quality TV time.

Borl is housetrained and uses a doggy door. She makes incredible progress every day with her ability to trust and other social skills. She can be sensitive to loud noise and sudden movements so she would do best in a home without small children. Borl has been very gentle with puppies and dogs in her foster home and she is eager to make more friends.

Currently, Borl attends dog training classes and has shown remarkable progress thanks to her intelligence and treat motivation. She has learned to gently walk on a leash during outings with her foster siblings. Leashes used to be very scary for her.
