You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out locally.

Boots is a Border Collie/Aussie mix (we were told), born April 5, 2020. Boots is a fluffy cuddle bug and loves to be around humans. She is a bit of a braver explorer and likes to go exploring a little, but stays nearby and comes easily when called. She was the braver sibling pup to try the kiddie pool. She’s also a bit laid back and likes to lie under trees in the shade (or under the picnic table) when outside. She understands the concept of “sit” and “down” with treats. House-training is still a work in progress. She does have quite a bit of fluffy hair that is a magnet for grass seeds and clippings and what-not. We hope to have her spayed soon and she will be adoptable once altered. You must have a physically fenced in yard and live in the Rochester NY area to adopt. If you are interested in meeting this pup an application is required.

All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
