Boomer Pomsky Hazleton, IA

We are shocked that we still have Boomer. He is such a great boy.
Update - Boomer has done excellent with kids, but probably no toddlers since he is a door dasher. He has had no accidents and does his business right away. He has gotten along great with all the dogs in the shelter. He is great for grooming and nail trims.
Boomer was dumped by owners from out of our area at the shelter. He had a microchip so it was traced back to the owner who admitted dumping the dog. He was loose all the time in town and had killed some neighborhood chickens. He is use to running so will need a fenced in area or active person. While he is doing well at the shelter with housebreaking he will probably need to get on a schedule in his new home. He did great with the groomer. He supposedly lived in a house with another dog, but we would want to do a meet and greet to make sure the dogs are compatible when we have an approved adopter. . He wants attention all the time.. Boomer has not shown any destructive behavior since he has been at the shelter and is really a good boy. He would do best in a home without small children because he will be a door dasher.
