Bonnie is a gentle, sweet, lovable girl, who has happily adjusted to becoming an indoor dog after a former life outdoors. She loves being with her family and adores snuggling more than anything else. She will wiggle into even the smallest possibly space next to her person on the sofa and fall asleep. She is very laid back and calm in the house and loves quietly checking out scents and running in the back yard. She hasn’t had any interest in pointing or chasing squirrels or birds outside. She is very treat motivated and would do well with treats as part of training. Bonnie has done well sharing her foster home with 2 chihuahuas and a male English Shepard. She is a bit of a resource guarder around treats but shows no aggression. Bonnie was well behaved on leash on a trip to the pet store, but really could barely contain herself in the food section - joyfully followed scents in every direction, rushing from bag to bag of food and leaping as she walked. Shoppers commented a how beautiful and hilarious she was. She sometimes barks and cries at first when crated when her family leaves home, and needs practice - as she isn’t home alone often. She does very well on car trips, and goes straight to sleep in the bed in her crate.
