Bolt, born approximately 7/5/2020 is a very handsome, sweet-natured fella who absolutely adores people, especially women. This happy, people-pleasing, energetic guy is very food motivated and a fast learner. He is so eager to be taught tricks and is highly trainable. He longs to be someone's very best friend. He walks well on a leash, does great on long walks/runs, and is the best sleepy time snuggler. He loves to run, and zoom around while playing with his favorite toys, so a fenced in yard is ideal. He enjoys car rides and belly rubs. He also loves to sleep in bed with his humans and has no preference who is the big or little spoon. He will do best with an owner who has experience working with high-energy, sometimes silly dogs who are extremely strong and can be easily distracted. He'll do best as an only pet but gets along well with easy-going dogs (we are working on cats but for now, cats are a no-go). He came to the clinic as a very weak and emaciated fella, so he has come such a long way since mid-Summer 2023. He deserves to finally be in a home instead of living 23 hours a day in a concrete kennel.
