Mac Husky Buffalo, NY

Mac is an 8 year old Siberian Husky who spent most of his life in a puppy mill. Mas is kind of like the Matthew McConaughey of dogs - chill and charming and striving to adopt the sentiment of 'Wherever you are, just want to be here.' He's such a nice boy. As long as he has access to his crate (his safe space) and he knows other dogs are nearby, he's content to just lounge around all day. Dogs are his people, so he must go to a home with another confident canine companion. (Except for small dogs or cats, they are too fun to chase). He's aloof with humans which means he coexists peacefully without being the least bit demanding. With that said, he enjoys being brushed and will surrender to human company for grooming. Otherwise he'll settle on a dog bed and regard you dreamily across the room. He's a quiet soul who appreciates calm and stillness and would do best in a home that appreciates the same (No young kids, they're scary). Mac is neutered, house trained, up to date on vaccines and ready to find a cozy home to spend his golden years in. Please submit an application on the rescue's website to meet this guy.
