Meet Blondie

Meet Mr. Blondie!

Blondie is a neutered, small male Goldendoodle. He is 1.5 years old, 45 pounds and full of energy!

Blondie was lovingly named after Clint Eastwood’s character in old western movies. He is great at hiking and playing fetch. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well for the groomer and bathing. He has a very kind heart and wants SO hard to be a good dog. He is just not so great at it!

Blondie has been to a behaviorist as well as training classes. His foster family reports, "He needs firm, consistent boundaries and GENTLE correction. Any firm 'No' or physical reaction to Blondie means WRESTLEMANIA ON! He jumps, twirls, barks and engages in all the poor manners. But the gentle correction and consistency is where he excels. He wants to do what you want and really wants to be a good dog."

Blondie likes other dogs and children and cats. He just likes them too hard. Dogs his size and larger that are confident are excellent playmates.

We are looking for a loving, dog experienced family, who is active and accustomed to caring for energetic breed dogs. Any children or cats in the home must be comfortable living with dogs. Blondie's new home should also have experience with integrating adult dogs.

We do not adopt dogs out under the impression, expectations or claims that they are non or hypo-allergenic, and/or non or low shedding. BLONDIE will require regular grooming since he will shed, which can and will cause matting and skin issues if his coat is not properly groomed and cared for. Blondie does shed and is not "hypoallergenic." Blondie will need regular brushing at home and professional grooming every 6 to 9 weeks.
