Meet Biscotti
Biscotti is a sweet, gentle boy who likes affection and lots of TLC. He gives you a long, dreamy look when you scratch his ears and neck. He sits while being harnessed and leashed but also gets excited because he loves walks and the chance to use his beagle nose. It is very possible Biscotti used to live outdoors and is now realizing that life indoors is full of new and interesting things. Many ordinary things wow him - air coming out of the floor register...wow! His reflection in the mirror...wow! A treat at bedtime...wow! Biscotti responds to clear, consistent commands and vocal praise. He's learning "sit and "off and he's beginning to understand potty-training. It's important to encourage him to go outside to relieve himself, even if he thinks he doesn't need to. Biscotti likes napping in his crate, loves having a cozy dog bed, and likes riding in the car. Biscotti also likes chewing up paper and cardboard, so it's best to put those items out of reach and distract him with a puzzle toy or maybe best of all, the TLC he thrives in.
