Our funny Billy is a true gem. He lived in the shelter for 3 years, patiently waiting for someone to notice how happy, cute and goofy he was. Well, we are happy to announce that All Paws Matter noticed him and are we glad we did. Billy is one of our most adaptable dogs we have ever had. He loves people, new experiences, and currently works with his foster in her nail studio, meeting each of her clients with calmness, happiness, while still be a true gentleman. Billy would do well where he can be with his person. Going to work or staying home he’s the perfect companion.

He does  well with correction, and is house and crate trained (it is encouraged he continues in his crate at night), he does well on a leash and his foster says he picked up his manners and basic training very quickly. All in all a very smart boy.

Billy does well with non-dominant dogs, and lives with another female dog who resides in the home with his foster and plays and does well with her. He lives in a home with an infant baby and a toddler, he’s been loving, calm and gentle with both. No cats.

Billy has many quirks, including rolling on his back and smiling when he sees you. He has some missing teeth, so his tongue flops out the side of his mouth adding to his character. His foster says there can’t be enough said about Billy’s calm and genuine nature.  Oh, one more thing, Billy loves the water and loves to swim. His foster puts his life jacket on and in he goes into the lake. He would be a great camping or cottage buddy!
He would show anyone the meaning of man’s best friend. If you feel you would be the right fit for Billy, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
