Meet Billie Jean! She is a young Border Collie mix estimated around a year and a half. She is very friendly with people and great with other dogs. Well-behaved in the house and rides great in the car. She lovingly raised her litter and now it’s time for her to find her own forever home.

Billie Jean is unfortunately heartworm positive. It is not contagious and is being treated. She must find adopters here in Florida. Please share, and if you’re interested in adopting her, please fill out an application.

Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a $400 minimum donation, 1 year and up are a $350 minimum donation. 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

Billie Jean is available in FL. The Lucky Puppy Rescue, based in Bonifay, FL. The minimum donation $350 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
