Big Tex German Shepherd Dog Mix Springfield, MO

Howdy! I'm Tex, a 63-pound 1.5-year-old German Shepard mix kind-hearted, fella, searching for my forever home. I recently returned from the Pups for Parole training program, where I graduated with flying colors. I know all the basics to make me a great forever companion. I'm a mannerly southern gent who knows, sit, stay and wait. I have a natural talent for catching balls and a dedication to obedience that would make any family proud.

I'm already house and crate trained and improving my leash skills. I get excited and still pull a bit, so I'll need continued practice, maybe starting in quieter areas with less distractions. I get along with other dogs about my size after proper intros, and I'm good with respectful kiddos too. I'm kinda big, so I might accidently knock tiny ones over. Cats are not my jam.

When it comes to playing fetch, you can count on me to drop that ball or frisbee right into your hand. A privacy-fenced yard with a house setting would be my ideal. I thrive on physical and mental stimulation, and I promise to stay on my best behavior and remain relaxed at home if you keep me well-exercised.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
