Bhodi is a 6-month-old bundle of energy, weighing in at 40 lbs with a striking silver coat that's sure to capture your heart. He's a pit bull mix, making him a perfect blend of strength and affection. Bhodi loves receiving pets and treats, and his tail wags in appreciation.

Bhodi and his brother Blu are seeking a loving home to call their own. Rescued from a challenging start as strays with chains and padlocks around their necks, these resilient pups have overcome adversity and are now ready to fill your home with joy. Despite their rough start, both Bhodi and Blu have adjusted remarkably well and radiate happiness. Now, all they need is a family to share that joy with.

Both pups are great walkers on a leash when wearing a harness, enjoying every opportunity to sniff around and explore their surroundings. Bhodi and Blu have already mastered commands like "sit" and "stay." They are treat-motivated, making further training a delightful experience. In the car, these two cuties are fantastic companions – quiet, laid-back, and content to lay down and chew on their Nyla bones.

Bhodi and Blu are looking for a home filled with love and warmth. They would thrive in an environment where they can continue to learn, explore, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. We think they would benefit from a secure fenced in yard to romp around in.

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
