Betty Pit Bull Terrier Sherwood, AR

Betty came to us as a pregnant, injured stray. She had a broken femur and pelvis, which has healed up very nicely since. Unable to deliver her puppies naturally due to her injuries, a c-section was performed and she delivered 8 healthy puppies a week after being saved :) She's a very tough gal!

Her history before she found us is unknown, but judging by the scars on her face and body we believe she was unfortunately used for fighting. Betty's been boarding at a dog boarding & training facility working on leash manners, potty training, and general obedience since August 2022. She's smart and is proud to new skills very quickly!

Due to her mostly unknown background, high prey drive, and dog aggression, she would be best in a home where she's the only pet. She has not been tested around any children in our care, so we think a home with no children would be best for her also.

At about 3 years old, Betty is very playful and loving! Once she knows you have treats or food she will instantly stick to you like velcro :) She loves her toys as much as food and will even throw the ball to herself!
