Beth Border Collie Mix Bend, OR

Bethany is a 7 month old female border collie mix looking for her forever home. Her current foster says:
Bethany is extremely athletic and intelligent. Now that her personality has blossomed it’s hard to imagine the timid side she showed us for the first couple days. She is outgoing, loves to cuddle, and wants to play with ALL the toys. She has been extremely trainable - for example it only took 2 treats on a walk for her to decide to spend most of the walk in a perfect heel so she doesn’t miss a treat as well as that anything loud or scary means she gets a treat if she sits and looks at me.
She is house trained, crate trained, and does well in the car. She seems to have more initial trust for women rather than men but has warmed up just fine once she learned that men have treats and pets to give too. She has done well with dogs and cats. Her dog to dog communication skills seem very advanced for a dog her age. She is very tolerant with handling and while it has not been tested she would likely do well with kids but young children/loud children may need a little extra work on both sides so she isn’t scared.
She would make an excellent agility or obedience dog, and her level of focus on the human she’s with shows great promise for becoming an off leash adventure dog as well!
