Hi, my name is Bentley.
I am a 16 month old lab mix and I am looking for my FURever home. Maybe it’s with you?
Let me tell you a little about myself. I LOVE treats. I am more than willing to learn new tricks especially if you have some treats to offer. I know commands like sit, down, and I’m working really hard on place and stay. My problem is that I don’t want to be far away from my humans. My foster mom says that I am really smart but I don’t understand personal space…whatever that means. I just want to be near her or sitting on her lap ALL THE TIME. I’m really good at following my humans around to help with chores, snuggling on the couch, keeping your couch spot warmed up, and being a VERY BEST friend. I am house trained and crate trained. I have a human step brother who is 10 years old and we love to play together! Do you have dogs at your home? I LOVE being around other dogs and wouldn’t mind a furry brother or sister of my own. Oh, you have cats you say? Well, I’ve never been around one before so I’m honestly not sure.
Unfortunately I don’t remember much about my early life, but I know that I was rescued off of the streets of Pontiac by some very nice humans. When they found me I was really skinny and my tail was bent. I’m not sure how my tail got bent but the vet said that it wasn’t bothering me at all! I wear my bent tail with pride…plus it’s what makes me unique, and of course, fits my name (BENTley) perfectly! Also, I’m not super skinny anymore because my humans feed me well. I’ve never been aggressive with my food or toys. In fact, I LOVE to share!
Well, I think I mentioned all of the important stuff. So, if you’re ready to go on an adventure or just snuggle up on the couch, I’m your 100% certified good boy!
I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and heartworm negative.
