Meet Bentley

Bentley is a big black Mini at 28 pounds and is looking for a new home in his retirement years. He just turned 14 years old on March 9th. He was nervous around the toddler in the home, and there is another child on the way, so his people wanted to rehome him. He would be a great companion to a retired person or couple with a quiet adult home and a nice backyard to explore. He enjoys sniffing his way through his short walks every day and in his time outside in the yard. He also loves belly rubs and lots of pets. He has been an only dog, and is selective about which canines he chooses to be with, so an only dog home would be best for him. He is housetrained and knows a few basic commands, but is fearful of loud noises. He was diagnosed with a heart valve problem about 5 years ago and was on medication until about 4 months ago. The owner didn’t see a significant improvement in his health with the medication, so they discontinued it, and he still seems to be doing fine.

Bentley is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped. If you would like to meet Bentley, go to www.cominischnauzerrescue.com and complete the on-line adoption application. We suggest that you print a copy of the application before you hit the “submit” button, just in case! We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Bentley for a visit.
