Introducing, Bella!

This pretty lady was adopted through our rescue last October 2021. She was recently returned because she and the other female dog in the home just couldn’t get along. Bella is a bit of a resource guarder and her sister didn’t appreciate that, or back down, which made for a rough way to live for all involved.

Bella (was Stella in her home) needed some decompression time upon arrival. She was pretty sad. She was very loved and taken care of (lots of training and enrichment experiences, great vetting) in her home. Bella has turned over a new leaf. New start, new name, time for a new home!

Bella is just under 3 years old and just over 45 lbs. She’s a PIGLET, short and stocky and crazy cute.

She’s so fun, so friendly, so sweet with people. Bella can safely go for walks in areas where there are other dogs and is not reactive when she sees them….she would probably even be fine with dogs of a different personality, BUT, we will be looking for a home without other dogs in order to increase the potential for success in her new home.

No kitties either, she has not lived with them.

Bella has not lived with children, but I bet she would love some big kids, over 12.

She’s crate and housetrained, is a great leash walker, and LOVES to snuggle.
