Bella - Foster to Adopt Golden Retriever Mix Chatham, ON

Requirements - Must have a secure fenced yard with direct access from home. No other dogs or pets. Children 8+ ok. Applications will be reviewed from Chatham Kent, Sarnia and Windsor.

Beautiful Bella came to our foster home several weeks ago. She loves being around people, and enjoys being brushed, cuddles, back scratches and tummy rubs are the best!

Year of birth - 2016 - 75 lbs.

She is a medium size girl and needs a home with a secure fenced yard and room to run. She will chase squirrels to keep them on the move. Bella loves walks and is quite good at listening to commands in the home or outside. She loves to take in all the sights and smells on her walks. She can be a puller so a specific type harness would be a good choice for her. We were told her former owner took her when jogging.

She loves her foster family so much and can feel a bit anxious when she is alone at home. She is still working on her manners around other dogs. She is too much for small dogs and same for cats. She will chase so she is best to be the only furbaby in the home. Bells likes children who are respectful and when she had enough she will find a place to laydown (probably right next to her human). She would do her best being the only furbaby.

She is not a fan of car rides, although she does love music if she goes for a car ride.

Bell is very smart, loving, loyal and fun. She will bring lots of joy to your days and sweet cuddles. A person with patience with Bella being anxious would be ideal. Together you can learn from each other and have a lifetime of love and happiness.

Ideal situation for Bella is someone who works from home or works part time, newly retired and is very active. This is what this girl would call her dream come true.
