If there are multiple applications for a puppy, after all home checks are done, then the puppy is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that puppy.

Hi there! My name is Belden, and I’m a gorgeous, sweet little guy. With my good looks and my soulful stare foster mom says I’m the heartbreaker of the my family- which by the way was found the day after New Year’s Day in a box! All of us tossed to the street in the cold. A kind Uber driver turned us in to the Chicago police station who then reached out to CDR who took us all in!
I’m super smart and always paying attention, watching what’s going on…..and keeping an eye out for treats especially. I am crate trained, working on my house training, and I’m super sweet with kids, and give lots of little licks, and I’m not jumpy at all. I love all of my foster brothers and sisters and would do well in a home with other dogs or just on my own to soak up all of the attention. Treats are one of my favorite thing in the world. Except for toys- I love toys. Almost as much as cuddles and pets. It’s really hard to pick favorites now that I think about it- I like everything! **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
