Meet Beau
Beau if one of 9 puppies born on 2/18/24. He is the leader of the pack. He leads from behind, but boy does he love to be babied. He's the first one in his foster's lap, and already knows how to "suck up" for an additional treat. He loves chasing a ball on the floor, and will love fetch once he gets the idea. Currently, he gets sad and confused when the ball is thrown. Tough Enrichment toys will be best.
A few things to know before you apply:
They will move into foster-to-adopt homes until after May 1
We know that Tilly (mom) is a heeler/mix and we do not know dad. Our original DNA test had an error in the lab and we are waiting on the second.
If approved, $400 is due at the time you receive your puppy. Since they are not yet spayed or neutered, these are foster-to-adopt ONLY. If you decide not to adopt, your $400 will be refunded once spayed/neutered and posted for adoption
Spays and neuters will begin at 12 weeks
Puppies will have two rounds of vaccines by May 1st. Compliance with vetting for final round of vaccines and spay/neuter is mandatory (we will provide both)
All puppies have been exposed to loud noise; including several severe thunderstorms, vacuums and even drums with no real issues.. They each experienced water both in a tub and outdoor wading pool. Each has done decent with nails trimmed and are very comfortable with "health checks" such as touching paws, anal glands and teeth. The foster's cats have been in the room with them but not fully interacted with them. All seem to be interested, but not aggressively.
