This gorgeous boy is Beau and he is looking for a bully experienced home. We cannot be sure of his exact breed(s) but he looks fairly American Bully.

Beau is a very high energy boy! He is pretty much only still when he's asleep! He needs an extra active home where he will be kept moving, exercised, and mentally stimulated. There are loads of "brain games" for dogs now and Beau would love a family who will make use of some of these. Given his love of food, some of the "find the cookie" games would be right up his ally!

He will need a fully secure yard that he can romp and run in. Beau LOVES his toys and will be thrilled in a home where someone tosses his toys for him, plays tug with appropriate toys, and lots of other bully friendly toys/games.

Beau needs to pee often and needs outside every 2-3 hours. We're not sure why but it may just be it's what he's used to in his previous home. He does not love being crated so a home where someone is home at least part-time will be needed. He gets very stressed if crated too long.

Some training is needed with leash walks. Beau is convinced you would like him to pull as hard as he possibly can and get moving. Someone committed to training with him with positive methods will be needed. Beau responds well to praise and cookies!

Beau guards his food from other animals (not people). He is fine with cats except while eating. An easy fix for this is to feed him in his crate and remove the bowl when he's done. He is not a fan of other dogs and will do best as an only dog going forward. Dog parks and the like will be off-limits for Beau.

He is a happy, friendly boy who is playful and fearless!! He's good with older kids, cats, strangers, and enjoys being brushed and cuddles on the couch. Beau IS a barker so leaving him outside unattended will just result in annoyed neighbours. Staying with him, playing with him outside, quick potty trips in and out - all will make for positively reinforcing less barking for no reason.
