Ricky - Wallflower Beagle Mix Washington, IA

Ricky is our ten-year old Beagle who is described as a 'Wallflower'. Shy yet charming canine searching for patient owner with relaxed lifestyle. Looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweet and kind and I’ll blossom. (Internally motivated)

Ricky is a very sweet and lovable senior boy. He would be a wonderful buddy to relax with and go for walks with.

He loves every human he meet's and he will put his paw on you and climb into your lap. He leans in and that tail just wags and wags.
Ricky does well with cats and has lived with a female dog, but can be selective as far as another dog.
Per his foster family:
He has been doing fairly well with using his doggie door to go potty. Ricky is very tolerant of our 11 mos old puppy, but not as good with our 4 yr old Chihuahua. He loves all treats and Fresh Pet dog food.
He loves being outside in our fenced in back yard.
Ricky DOES NOT like to be kenneled at night.

All our dogs have been spayed or neutered or arrangements will be made if currently too young. They will be treated for fleas, bathed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo, treated against general parasites, and if of age, tested for heart worms and vaccinated against rabies. If underage for these things at the time of adoption, they are to be done at the adopter’s cost when the dog becomes of age. They will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
