Bashful is a 3.5-month-old Shepherd/Aussie mix up-for-adoption through Homeward Bound Dog Rescue. He is a GORGEOUS tri-colored pup with medium length fur. Bashful is a super attentive pup and is just loving being taught obedience. He seems to have both the best qualities of a German Shepherd AND an Aussie in terms of intelligence, drive, wanting to please his owner, and attention span. Bashful loves his toys and happily grabs them all night long to play with on the couch. Bashful walks with his family at the dog friendly golf course in the area and he’s a rockstar—greets people and other dogs with a wagging tail and then moves on with his “pack.”
Bashful would love a suburban or rural home, another dog would be great but not required, and space to stretch his legs. He’s a baby so shouldn’t be crated more than 4 hours at a clip. He is good with kids but he is right in that mouthy/puppy stage so toddlers probably would not be a great fit. Bashful is going to make some lucky folks very happy since he is THE BEST pup!

We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
