Meet Barry
Meet Barry
Barry is a sweet boy that came to naws after a passerby watched someone let him out of their car in a parking lot on purpose. We don't know why anyone would do that because he is such a sweetie. He is acclimating to naws life now and gets along with new people he meets and seems to like other doggies as well. He can be a little shy meeting people initially but warms up pretty quickly. Barry loves belly rubs and going on long walks if the weather is not too chilly. He loves butt scratches and is potty trained too! This 1.5 year old boy is looking for his forever home.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
