Meet Bark Twain

Bark Twain, who we are just calling "Twain" is a male, 15 week old australian shepherd puppy that weighs around 18lbs. He came to us after being surrendered as an owner surrender and has a typical fun, aussie puppy personality! In foster care, Twain is working on housebreaking, crate training and basic obedience and doing great, but that will need to continue with his new, forever home. He is still young and new to exposures in the world, so he currently does well with other dogs and dog educated children in his foster home, and continued exposure and socialization will be key for this boy as it is for any other young influential puppy! Twain is a very young pup and new adopters need to be aware that they will need to work with him for future success - we will be available to help give guidance and answer any questions or concerns as needed. Per his foster mom, he is a joy of a puppy to have around. Very smart & eager to please!
To meet Bark Twain please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html
Bark Twain's adoption fee is $500, which includes his deworming, neuter at our vet (when of age), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) and microchip with lifetime registration. If you are out of area and the pup is too young to be neutered at time of adoption, adoption fee will be less, and you will be contracted to complete vetting with proof being provided to the rescue.
*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you!
***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.
Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates:
