Meet Balloon
Looking for a WONDERFUL companion? Balloon is a very special boy looking for a very special home!
He is a VERY handsome and healthy 5 year old Beagle mix at 35 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, and just the BEST companion! He is very empathetic and is great for emotional support. Looney is a VERY loving, cuddly dog who just wants to be with you, snuggled up next to you. He’s very playful and is an absolute joy. He is also very smart and just a WONDERFUL boy!
He would be happy in a family or with a single person who works from home or is retired. He rarely barks unless he is left alone, sees other dogs or squirrels, or is in the car. Sometimes when you come home or pick him up from boarding he gets so excited you really hear that Beagle bark! He also gets a major case of the zoomies when you come home. :)
A home with a secure, fenced backyard where he can sniff, play, lay in the sun, and go potty. (He absolutely LOVES doggie doors.)
A home where he is allowed to snuggle with you on the couch.
A family who will have someone home most of the day, as he has separation anxiety.
A family who will understand his fear of thunderstorms. (He has medication which helps a little.)
Someone who will NEVER, EVER take him to a shelter!
People who understand he’s a Beagle, so he will run out the front door if given a chance and he could get hurt.
We’re unsure how he is with kids, but imagine he’d enjoy extra people to cuddle with! The only problem there is his mission to destroy every stuffed animal on the planet- he won’t understand which toys are and are not his. We’re also unsure about cats, but feel they may not work because of his prey drive.

LOVE, his toys, sunny spots to lay in, and people who will let him snuggle with them.
People who understand he CANNOT be around strange dogs- no playdates, no doggie-daycare, etc.
