Bailey Golden Retriever & Labrador Retriever Mix Clear Lake, IA

This is Ms. Bailey - she is about 6months old and it is reported she is a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever.

Unfortunately she was allowed to remain with her sister since birth and has no self-confidence. She is a shy young lady and will require a patient home to show her humans are good. Her owner left the home and left them both behind for someone else to care for them. Unfortunately no one was able to do so - and luckily they called us to take them and help find them responsible and loving homes.

We have separated them to try and get them used to doing things on their own and not dependent on the other one for security. We are working on housebreaking but they will require more work for whatever lucky family adopts this cutie.

There is no record of any shots so we started from scratch with shots, will be spayed on Tuesday 2/13/24. We will start letting them have visitors as of Thursday 2/15/24 that understand how shy they are and agree to move slowly with them. They did great with kids when they lived in their prior home. So kids that are calmer would be great for her.
