Baby Girl Mixed Breed West Olive, MI

Baby Girl is an incredibly sweet girl. She loves people and wants nothing more than to be hanging out with her people. She is a little nervous at the shelter and isn't quite as rambunctious as her owner said she was in the previous home. Her previous owner said that she loves to play with any and all toys. She shows no such interest at the shelter. At the shelter, she would much rather lay across your lap and get a belly rub. She will play with a toy for barely a moment and then return to her people to get butt scratches and belly rubs. She is a very goofy, loving gal. Her previous owner said that she is alone in the home for long hours during the day without issue. She used to live with cats and children. She did well with both, except she would sometimes attempt to closely investigate the cats. They mostly stayed out of her way. Her previous owners marked that she is nervous of men and loud noises. They also said that she has some guarding habits with food and rawhides. This was reflected at the shelter. She would eat rapidly and not allow the bowl to be taken from her. She would growl over rawhides, but she never went further than a growl. Likewise, she would trade out wonderfully for treats. As far as guarding goes, this is a rather mild case. While older children are preferred, potential adopters with young children can talk to Sarah to get approval for adoption.
