Meet Axel

Axel is a happy, playful little Treeing Walker Coonhound/American Foxhound weighing in at only 30 lbs. we beleive he is 1 year or under. He is a little on the petite size for his breed, but underweight. He came to us emaciated, which tells us that he must have had a rough start to his young life.

Axel adores every person he meets including children, and he enthusiastically introduces himself to every dog that he meets. He would do best with another dog. He would make a perfect addition to any loving family! We believe that he has not had much experience living in a home. He does very well in a crate, and he enjoys discovering new things in his foster home, like stairs, different rooms, tv and other normal household things.
