Hello there! My name is Ava, and let me tell you, my story is full of twists and turns, but thankfully, it's leading me right to you!

Along with my best friend, Ella, we found ourselves in a bit of a ruff situation – abandoned at an empty house. But fear not, fate intervened, and we landed at Saving Grace filled with kind faces. While it's been an adventure, a loving home is truly what my heart desires.

I am a gentle soul and my heart overflows with kindness and love. Whether it's a belly rub or a cuddle session, affection is my favorite thing. I am also playful at heart. A squeaky toy and a good walk bring my joy. Once I bond with someone, they become my whole world. You can expect me to follow you around and wag my tail, ready for any adventure. As long as I have love, some playtime, a soft bed and a toy, I am a happy pup.

Ava is currently located with our rescue in the Texas Panhandle. We are one the partner rescues with Project Freedom Ride and do monthly transports to the PNW and NE.

All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable and a negative fecal. Your adoption allows us to continue our mission. Thank you for opting to adopt!
