Ashley was brought in with her sister and let us know right away that she was other-dog friendly. After her sister left us, we were easily able to match her with a friend/kennelmate. She loves to be outside running with her friends & has the best smile when she gets the zoomies! She loves to get her friends to chase her but will also try her hardest to be the one who sits in your lap! Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.

Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
