Miss Asha is the snuggliest of pups with the sweetest nature and the most soulful puppy eyes that ever were! She’s a fast learner and has mastered the sit, shake, and lay down commands. Asha enjoys walks with her foster mom twice daily where she politely walks by her side and responds to “wait”, “let’s go”, “leave it”, and “this way”. She attended the St. Paddy’s Day Parade in Peoria and was quite the shining star meeting well over a hundred people and soaking in every bit of attention she got. Asha is highly motivated by both treats and affection. She loves nothing more than to snuggle in for a good back scratch or belly rub. In typical pittie fashion, Asha is not afraid to express this need for affection and will offer her paw to request more of it. She’s currently learning to sit politely to receive all this goodness rather than climbing atop her people, and has picked up on this expectation quickly. Asha is an expert hugger and loves to nuzzle in. She has a playful side as well and lights up with joy playing in the yard with her tennis ball, rope, and her crew of canine foster siblings. Not only is she dog friendly, but she’s kid friendly as well. Asha is crate trained, house trained, loves car rides and bath time, and doesn’t ask for much beyond food/water, snuggles, a bit of exercise, and a bone she can lay down to chew. Asha is the perfect medium sized dog, a small pittie at just 45lbs full grown with gorgeous brindle markings along her back and the most endearing floppy ears. She’s a young girl between one and two years old. Asha has been vetted and spayed and is now available for adoption.
