Meet ARTEMIS

ARTEMIS is a dog who was dumped by his owner in a rural area of central Kentucky. He did have initial injuries when rescued that have been treated and are fully healed. He is guessed to be around a year old, and very playful and energetic. Artemis gets a long playfully with other dogs. He has been sharing toys with humans and dogs really well lately! The only time he needs to be separated is during meal time. He also has all of his basic training pretty much down! The only thing he’s still learning is to not jump up on humans. An experienced dog owner is the best suit for Artemis, and we do not recommend a home with young children due to his lack of training and structure prior to rescue. We think he would love children, but needs to work on his manners (jumping).
