Ariel is an adorable goofball who loves people, kids, and other dogs. She loves short walks in the neighborhood, playtime, and snuggling up with you any chance she gets, and of course getting lots of belly rubs. She is quite the acrobat and can jump really high. If you have a 4ft fence in your backyard she can probably jump over it. She would do great in a home with a tall fence and another dog to play with. She would also do well as an only dog.

Ariel's story is one of resilience and unwavering love. This spirited pup found herself living in a truck when her family faced the harsh reality of losing their home. She displayed her motherly instincts by protecting her one-day-old puppies, keeping them safe under the seats. Her puppies have been adopted and now Ariel is ready for her chance at a new life.

In her new foster home, her foster parents quickly discovered how adaptable she really is. She was an avid counter surfer at the center, but in her foster home she quickly learned that was not allowed. She's quickly picked up basic commands. She's very good at sit, stay, come, laydown, and place. She is making lots of progress on loose-leash walking. *Her adopter will receive 2 free personal training sessions at Zoom Room Cary so they can continue her training.* Ariel is also learning how to do agility for fun and loves running the course. During the day, she's well behaved and sleeps while her foster family works from home. Unlike many dogs, she doesn't have separation anxiety. When left alone, she doesn't bark. She'll look for you for a little while and then go to sleep. Of course, she loves to see you when you get back and gives you a proper greeting.
