Meet Archie, a charming two-year-old golden doodle in search of his perfect match!

Archie will thrive in a loving home without other animals or children, where his unique personality can shine. He’s in foster with two other dogs - but can be dog selective so we believe it’s best for him to head to an only dog forever home.

Familiarity with doodles and their traits is a bonus for his new family, as Archie is not only incredibly sweet and intelligent but he can protective of his food, toys, and beloved owners. Another reason we believe a forever home as an only pet is likely his best most fitting adopter.

As Archie can be dog selective, he isn’t a dog that should go to dog parks or make friends with other dogs at the vet etc. He’d like a back yard and a forever home where - while he goes for lots of walks now - it’s not as ideal as a home where he can primarily potty outside without other dog interaction.

A fenced house would also be ideal.

With some training, time, and work on basics his resource guarding and such will likely improve. The foster is working on these issues also while we wait for his forever home. He lives with two dogs now and with proper dog introductions he’s doing great. But we want to ensure his new owner looks past “he’s so cute” and is committed to Archie’s success.

He will be chipped and visit the vet prior to adoption. He has no known health issues. He has been vetted by his prior owners but we want our vet to give an all clear as good practice.
