Aramir German Shepherd Dog Old Westbury, NY

Aramir his owner was dying in the hospital. His family brought him straight to the shelter what is an extreme high kill shelter . Owner surrenders are the first ones to be killed and we had no second to loose . Luckily we were in time and his owner could die in peace .

Aramis is almost 3 years old and is a little bit confused . He does not understand his new surroundings yet . When we bring him out , he is calm and does not show much interest . However when we brought a female shepherd out he was complete the oppersite and is a playful shepherd . He is good with other dogs but is a very large dog himself . It is not that he plays rough but he is full force because of his height .

It was so nice to see him back as a real dog .

We are looking for a family who will give him lots of love and where he is really a family member . Don't forget that pets do grieve about their previous owners .

Aramis is a wonderful dog for the person or family who gives him a little bit time to adjust .
