Meet Anya!
Stop what you’re doing! You need to read this! Have you ever met a pup so sweet it melts your heart? That’s Anya! Anya is a 2 yr old terrier mix weighing at a healthy 45 lbs. She has an absolutely phenomenal temperament. Anya had a very rough beginning to life. Sweet Anya was found with severe puncture wounds around her neck and in intense pain. Through her pain she was still incredible loving and wanted to connect with everyone. A quick staff favorite, everyone fell in love with her sweet nature and sent out a plea for help. While waiting for someone to answer the call and while healing herself she provided endless comfort to other shelter animals which included numerous abandoned puppies. We were happy to be chosen to answered the call and beyond excited to be the team to help her connect with her people. With Anya’s loving and nurturing temperament we believe she’d be a great therapy dog. Once out of her shell her calming, excepting nature eases the most weary of hearts. Both animals and hoomans have felt her soft allure for safety. As if her soft hearted personality wasn’t enough, she’s kennel, potty and leash trained. Doesn’t get much better than this!! Anya is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She’ll have a USDA health certificate upon adoption.
