Hi, my name is Anny, and I am a senior schnauzer mix who is looking for her forever home. I'm a really good girl, but unfortunately, my previous owner had some serious health issues and they were no longer able to take care of me. My foster family isn't exactly sure what I'm mixed with, but they say I am 100% cute!

I know commands like sit and how to shake hands. Most of the day, I am pretty relaxed, but I do like to play and enjoy wandering around my fenced in backyard. When I want something, I may bark a little, but I tell you exactly what I want--whether it's to go outside, if I want to go on a walk, or just want a treat.

Over the holidays, my foster family had four kids come to the house ranging from 9 years to 18 months old. The kids loved me and I really liked them too! I just got to lay there while they petted me and gave me kisses. I also really like my foster siblings and get along with just about any dog.

I do have something known as Cushing's Disease, which just means some of my hormones are a little out of whack. It doesn't slow me down at all. I just have to take my medicine every day, and I'm good to go!

I can't wait to get to my forever home and give some love to my new family.

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
