When you adopt Angel, you will see that she truly is the perfect Angel. She is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix and is fully grown at about 40 pounds. Angel may be an older girl, but she still has so much love to give. She will happily come to you for any and all kinds of treats, pets, or just spend be with you.

When Angel was first rescued, she had never felt the gentle hand of a human She was left outside her entire life to fend for herself. She has had multiple litters in her lifetime and truly has been through the worst. Because of this, she is still shy with new people, busy households, and higher-energy dogs. Her eyes speak volumes. But we are working everyday to bring that sparkle back to this sweet, loving and forgiving girl.

Angel's ideal home would be a calm, quiet, and comfy home. She prefers walking around on the carpet, as she does not feel as confident walking around on tile or hardwood flooring yet but is getting better with each passing day. Angel is very quiet and truly naps the day away. She enjoys going outside for a quick sniff and potty but will come right back inside to find her comfy spot. Angel would not mind going home with other dogs or cats but prefers that they are just as calm and easygoing as she is. For the same reason, she would do well with older children who can respect her boundaries. Angel is not super playful with dogs, people, or toys but once she is comfortable at home she is an avid snuggler.

Angel is very food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat. She is working on her leash skills, although she prefers taking quick potty breaks in a fenced-in backyard. She is housebroken and is crate trained even though she does not need one.
