Amaya Labrador Retriever Mix Las Vegas, NV

WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in.

Amaya is about 1 yrs old and weighs about 40 lbs. Unfortunately, she came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. She is reported to be good with cats. She is nervous around young kids, so household needs children over 12 yrs old. She has been in a foster home this week and they have said:

Amaya, a 1-year-old labrador retriever mix, is a complete bundle of energy. She is house and crate trained (she still cries for a few minutes at the beginning of sleepy time then settles in quickly). She knows "sit" and we are working on "stay" and "down." She knows how to use the dog door and LOVES to chase birds. Her motor doesn't quit and she wears out our 3-year-old pit bull rather quickly. So much so that sometimes our dog will just walk away from Amaya. Hard chew toys are a must to keep her occupied when not walking or playing outside. When she gets excited she likes to jump so we are working on correcting that behavior. Aside from all the play, she will also walk on a leash as long as you will walk her. She is a slight puller and gets better every day. She has a tendency to pull toward traffic so we walk her on the inside of the sidewalk away from the street. She has made marked improvement every day and will make her adopter very happy.

A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet.

If you are interested in Amaya, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.

This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies.
