Hi, my name is Alvin! I’m a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Playful, sweet, silly
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, 8+. I have lived with children in the past and enjoyed playing fetch with them.
-Can Live with Cats: Maybe. Huskies tend to have a high prey drive, but a home with a confident, dog savvy cat with a slow, proper introduction might be okay.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, played well with others in playgroup. Huskies can be a high energy so a proper introduction is needed with new dogs.
-Can do Apartment Living: No, he is far too loud for apartment living.
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No, classes are not required, but they are recommended.
-Energy Level: Medium to high. He will need regular walks or hikes, training, and mental enrichment.
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter and a microchip.

Alvin is an awesome dog who deserves to be part of the family! In his previous home, he primarily lived outside, but is looking for a cozy home, preferably with a fenced yard, as he has a history of escaping from his previous home. He would not be a good fit for an apartment, as huskies are very vocal and tend to talk loudly and often. He loves to play and snuggle with his person but also has an independent side, like most Huskies. While he is not required to go to training classes, it is recommended.
