Hello... My name is Alfie. Can you believe that before coming to MVPC, I had spent most of my life in the Shelter. Because of this, I am learning all of my basic puppy stuff - crate training, potty training, leash training and some basic commands now. I keep hearing people say that I am a "work in progress" kind of fella. I have been working really hard trying to listen, coming when called and picking up on dog ques while playing. And speaking about playing - I love to play & wrestle. I would LOVE to have a tolerant doggie sibling who also loves to play. Once I get the wiggles out, I do like to snuggle. I have been told that my fur is super soft !! I think that I am a cute, little mutt with a WONKY face and a BIG personality.

ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)

I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $175 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
