My name is Albus and I am sharing my story with the hope that it will inspire others to find their inner strength. I arrived at PAHS last month horribly emaciated and completely exhausted. Can you believe that a big boy like me weighed a mere 38lbs? I could not seem to hold in any of my food which made gaining weight seem nearly impossible. As if this wasn't challenging enough, the kennel staff quickly discovered that I am deaf and have some mild vision issues. A slow, gentle approach works best for me as I can get a bit jumpy without my sense of hearing.

Despite these setbacks and physical limitations, I am a very sweet old gent with a ton of puppy energy. I love playing with ropes and tug toys and get some pretty pawsome airtime when jumping for my stuffies. I am searching for a family with older children who will understand and respect my disability limitations. While I am unable to share a home with another dog, I may be a suitable friend for a cool cat given a slow introduction.
