Meet Alaska

Intake Date: 22 Jan 2022 ----- Adopted: 13 Feb 2022 ---- Returned to Rescue: 25 April 2024 ----- Age at latest Intake: 3 yrs ----- Breed: Husky or Akita or Shiba mix? ----- Estimated Size: 38 lbs ----- Status: Surrender at open surrender event. ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome back Alaska! I remember Alaska fondly from our no judgment surrender event. He is a happy happy dog. Unfortunately after over 2 years in a home, he is returned to rescue due to no fault of his own. His owners medical health was getting in the way of proper care. Alaska is a young and active boy. He loves walks and playing. He came from a home with multiple children and cats too. He is a great dog. He is clean in his kennel. His one thing is that he does chew when bored. He loves everyone he meets! Is super happy all the time and even enjoys car rides. I adore this dog. He has a beautiful coat and his family definitely took great care of him. He deserves a final home for the rest of his life. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
