During the procedure Agent S was nervous but allowed his PE to be done. I was able to touch him with slow precise movements which allowed him to begin to relax slowly during the exam. Agent S showed signs of fear and stress(tucked tail with tense skin) but after check in has been much more relaxed - still tense but I can now go over to his cage and pet him through the gate.(4/10) Unable to check in. Dog is hard barking, snarling, and lunging at kennel door.Behavior Observation: (4/29) Easily leashed and removed from kennel. Pulls moderately through shelter and parking lot. Once he hits grass, immediately urinates and defecates. In yard, explores by sniffing perimeter for a few minutes before returning to handler's call and accepting pets all over with loose body. Loves chasing a tennis ball and returns and drops ball to handler. Pulls slightly back through parking lot and into shelter. Easily returned to kennel and leash is easily removed.(4/21) Per Staff -- Easily leashed and removed from kennel today. Pulls through shelter and out to yard. In yard, initially fairly aloof as he runs laps around perimeter. Does return to handler after urinating and defecating and accepts pets from back of neck to flank with loose body. Easily distracted by passing vehicles does not pay much attention to handler but continues to accept pets with loose body language when handler approaches. Easily returned to kennel and leash easily removed.(4/19) Dog Meet --Attempted dog meet with Sheila through fence. Agent S was very aroused, vocalizing, muzzle punching the fence. When met Sheila on leash, attempted to snap before able to introduce. Took in separate yard and continued to fixate on Sheila from across the parking lot. Still allowed handling and did not tense up. No interest in toys or treats. Pulled heavily through parking lot and into shelter. Placed back in kennel and leash removed without issue.(4/19) Per Staff -- Agent S was easily leashed and removed from kennel today. Still bows when leash is presented but easily looped. Once on leash, pulls through shelter and outside until in yard. In yard, runs laps for 5 or so minutes before returning to handler. Allows handling all over with loose body. Chases a rope toy but does not play with it once he gets to it. When handler stops petting, uses nose to nudge for more pets to flank. Pulls back to kennel but easily returned to kennel and easily unleashed.(4/18) Per Staff -- Moderately difficult to remove from kennel due to dog retreating and then coming forward again. Friendly, but conflicted. Once looped, exited easily and only pulled slightly while walking to evaluation room. Allowed handling all over although did show some signs of stress - heavy panting and some displacement sniffing. No issues returning to kennel or removing lead.(4/15) Was able to remove from kennel again on 4/15. When assessor approaches kennel, Agent S comes to front of kennel, takes treats nicely and pushes against kennel door to solicit pets, allows pets with loose body language. Leashing is easier than last time but Agent S still bows and then retreats before coming forward again and bowing. Is able to be leashed with no snapping at leash and readily leaves kennel. He pulled strongly through shelter and parking lot into yard. In yard, Agent S is initially tense but loosens after a few minutes and allows pets over entire body with relatively loose body language. Did not show interest in toys. One member of the public did walk by the fence which caused Agent S to tense and bark. Handler was able to pick leash up with no issue. Agent S pulls through the parking lot and shelter when returning. He is easily returned to kennel and leash is easily removed.(4/14) Per Staff -- Agent S approached for treats and took them gently but would bow and then retreat to back of kennel once presented with leash. After a few attempts, Agent S became overstimulated and started nipping at leash. A very loud barking dog in the kennel next to Agent S seemed to be escalating the situation. The handlers ended the interaction and moved to the other side of the kennel, which was quieter. Agent S remained at the kennel door as the handlers attempted to leash and accepted pets and treats. The handler was able to leash Agent S and the dog immediately exited the kennel, pulling strongly through the shelter and to the outside. Agent S continue to pull through parking lot, zig zagging in front of handler until we got into a yard. Agent S' body language in yard was tense and handlers attempted some pets to flank which were accepted. Agent S was very aloof in yard, tracing perimeter repeatedly but would accept treats from handler when he passed by. Showed no real interest in toys beyond chasing a tennis ball once. When members of the public would walk by the fence, Agent S would tense and hard bark. Agent S tensed up when handler picked up leash to go back inside and pulled strongly on walk back to kennel. Agent S dodged going back into the kennel but was lured in with treats and easily unleashed.(4/12) Per Staff -- Unable to remove from kennel. Took treats with a soft mouth, ears back, tail neutral. As soon as the leash was in sight he moved to the back of the kennel and would not approach.(4/12) Per Staff -- Still unable to be removed from kennel. Dog is hard barking at front of kennel, retreats and then charges towards front of kennel, snapping at bars. Spent 8-10 minutes attempting to coax with treats and Fresh Pet but behavior continued. When attempted to leash, dog snapped repeatedly and tore leash.(4/10) Behavior -- Initially dog lunging and hard barking at approach of assessor. Ceased barking when treat was presented, but still showing teeth. Assessor dropped treat and stepped away. Approached dog for a second time, dog this time was not snapping/lunging, but was low growling and extremely stiff. Able to drop treat in kennel and stepped away for another few moments. Came back, dog was on other side of kennel, but was able to call him over and again give treat. Dog continued tense posture with low tail, but ceased offensive behavior and growling.(4/10) Upon intake, one individual surrendering the dog had to place the dog in the kennel; ACA commented that the woman who was also present at the surrender said she was "terrified" of the dog. Dog was surrendered in a muzzle that needed to be removed, after finder pl
