Abby Terrier & Poodle Mix Naperville, IL

My name is Abby and I'm about a year to a year and a half old. I'm a terrier/poo mix weighing 13 lbs, and oh so cute! I'm really friendly and love chasing toys, especially small tennis balls. I do enjoy my naps throughout the day, but I also love long walks. I do pretty good on the leash, but I tend to get distracted by small critters. If I could, I would chase them as far as the eye can see. Unfortunately my foster hasn't allowed me do just that. She's afraid I won't come back...hehe! I'm good in the crate, but I don't like to be in there for long periods of time. If I must be put in there, make sure I have something to chew on, otherwise I'm forced to chew on my bed and I'd rather not do that. I'm sure with time and patience, I could get better at being crated longer. I am much more comfortable sleeping on my doggie bed. I do enjoy napping near you on the sofa too! My foster sibling is an 8lb chihuahua mix. We get along, but he's not very playful. If I had someone my size that would play, I think I'd love that! Bigger dogs tend to scare me a bit. If I see them outside or hear them, I like to bark. In the morning, after my walk, I like to sit at the window and watch the little critters run about. I get excited and start to shake because again, I want to chase them! I really think I'll make a wonderful addition to your family so please come see me!


The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
